Is there writing on the face of the print when I receive it? |
No, there better not be. The watermark image is only on the image shown on the gallery. |
Is the order size the finished paper size or the image size? |
It will be the final size of the paper, but the prints are borderless so it also the image size. Images are cropped to match the aspect ratio of the size print you've order. |
What is a metallic print? |
Kodak and other photo paper producers have created special papers that have a very glossy finish and a metallic appearance. Images printed on this paper have rich, vibrant colors that have a striking appearance on an ultra bright background. Not a good choice for swim pics, too bright. |
Do you make the prints locally? |
No, they are processed into your prints by a professional photo lab that specializes in serving professional photographers. The quality of the prints from this lab far exceeds anything you or I could get from an inkjet printer at home, and under normal circumstances the Fuji Chrystal Archive paper the lab uses will resist fading for 50+ years. |
What's the "turnaround" time for an order? |
Normally, 2 to 3 days to edit and print the images and an additional 3 to 5 days for shipping. If you're ordering big enlargements please select Priority Mail over First Class because Priority Mail packaging better protects big enlargements, it also provides package tracking. First Class is fine for a few 4X6's |
My son/daughter is in the meet/game that's coming up. Can you shoot them? |
Hopefully, yes. I'm a parent and a husband, I volunteer as a USA swimming official and as a "starter" for a local high school swim team, I also volunteer with a local BSA troop. Email or call me, I will try to accomodate you but please don't be offended if i can't. |

Probably, the products listed are the most popular and for the sake of simplicity are the only ones listed. Prints are availalbe in many different sizes and finishes and images are available on key chains, trading cards, coffee mugs, tee shirts, tote bags and more. If you are interested in something you don't see please contact me. |
What's the best way to find my way around your website? |
If you are looking for pictures from a specific event or if you've contacted me about taking pics of your child, simply click on "Events & Ordering" and select the event you're looking for from the list there. These galleries will typically stay up for about 3 weeks. If you are just "browsing" you can click on "Main Gallery" and from there select the type of work you would like to see. |
Can I see samples of your prints before I place an order? |
Sure, catch up with me at any of the events and I'll have proofs showing my work and the various sizes of prints you can order. That's also a good time to discuss any special photo products you might be thinking about. |
